Tom Werner was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Lamb Weston in November 2016, and serves as a director on the Lamb Weston board of directors.
Most recently, Tom served as the President of Commercial Foods at ConAgra Foods. He joined ConAgra Foods in 1999, and served in roles of increasing responsibility throughout his career across ConAgra's Commercial Foods and Consumer Foods operating segments. He served as interim President of ConAgra's Private Brands from June 2015 through its divestiture in February 2016.
Tom holds a MBA from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis from Saint Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City, Kansas.
Robert McNutt was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in November 2016, with an effective start date of Jan. 16, 2017.
Rob joined Lamb Weston from paper company Expera Specialty Solutions, where he established a new financial organization and led all financial aspects of standing up a new company as the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Expera, Rob was the CFO for Greif, Inc., and Boise, Inc. Rob’s extensive experience in senior financial roles, working with Boards of Directors, and a variety of external financial audiences make him uniquely qualified for this role at Lamb Weston.
Rob holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance, both from Washington State University.
Micheline Carter was named Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Lamb Weston in September 2016. Micheline is accountable for all Human Resources functions for Lamb Weston, and provides human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company.
Micheline joined Lamb Weston from Kraft Heinz Company where she was the Head of US People and Performance & Global Corporate Functions. She has extensive experience crossing the full spectrum of human resources functions with companies like MEMC Electronic Materials, Texas Instruments, and Yum! Restaurants International.
Micheline has a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Development, both from Georgia State University.
Eryk Spytek joined Lamb Weston in October 2016 as SVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Eryk is responsible for managing Lamb Weston's Legal Department, and for advising the organization on various strategic, legal, and compliance matters.
Eryk joined us from Winston & Strawn LLP, where as a corporate partner he advised clients on complex corporate finance, governance, and disclosure issues. Previously, he was VP, Deputy General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary for Mead Johnson Nutrition Company, where he led corporate and regional legal teams and helped establish standalone legal and compliance capabilities; and SVP, General Counsel, and Secretary for Sirva, Inc.
Eryk earned a BA from Georgetown University, a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and a LLM from The London School of Economics & Political Science.
Mike Smith was named Senior Vice President and General Manager, Foodservice and Retail Business Units in April 2018, and is responsible for Lamb Weston’s North American Retail and Foodservice business.
Mike has held various leadership positions since joining ConAgra Foods in 2007, most recently as Senior Vice President, Growth and Strategy where he led Lamb Weston through a continued focus on industry-leading innovation, insights-based marketing, and corporate strategy with direct oversight of the Research and Innovation and Marketing organizations. He also served as Vice President & General Manager of Lamb Weston Retail, Vice President & General Manger of Private Brands, and Vice President of Global Marketing of Lamb Weston.
Mike is a graduate of Brigham Young University and holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Rick Martin was named Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer for Lamb Weston in September 2016, where he is responsible for Lamb Weston's global end-to-end supply chain.
Rick is a 22-year veteran with Lamb Weston who joined the company as Manufacturing Manager at our Quincy plant in 1994. In 1997, he was promoted to Plant Manager of our Pasco facility and, in 1999, became Plant Manager for both the Pasco and Richland plants. Rick became Director of Operations in 2003; Vice President, Manufacturing in 2005; and Vice President, Global Operations in 2011. Before joining Lamb Weston, Rick spent 15 years at General Foods and Kraft Foods in a variety of engineering and manufacturing positions.
Rick holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington and is a registered Professional Engineer.
Sharon Miller was named Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Business Unit in September 2016. Sharon is responsible for Lamb Weston's domestic chain and international business, including Lamb Weston China. As owner of the company's end-to-end global customer relationships, Sharon leads a team that leverages Lamb Weston's industry-leading innovation to create partnerships for growth.
Sharon has held various leadership positions since joining ConAgra Foods in 1999, including Vice President of Sales for Lamb Weston's European joint venture — Lamb Weston/Meijer. She also oversaw the ConAgra Foods McDonald's Business Unit, where she applied ConAgra Foods best capabilities towards this global customer.
Sharon is a graduate of University of Guelph (Canada) and holds her MBA through a joint international program of the Kellogg School of Business and Schulich School of Business (Canada).
