.5 gal. caraway seeds

2 gal. vegetable oil

  1. Preheat the oven to 300° F
  2. Grind the seeds, place them with the oil in a metal bowl and place the bowl on a cooking sheet.
  3. Place the sheet in the lower third of oven for 1 hour.
  4. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  5. Strain to remove seeds.
